Yslow
YSlow ist eine von Yahoo entwickelte Developer-Erweiterung für die Firefox-Erweiterung Firebug, welche übrigens auf keiner Webdeveloper-Umgebung mehr fehlen sollte. Mit YSlow ist es nun möglich die Performance einer Seite zu bewerten. Es werden GZip-Kompression, externe Javascripts und Stylesheets, DNS und HTTP-Anfragen oder mögliche Redirects analysiert.
